On the Land of the Dja Dja Wurrung People, this is one of three events to celebrate Reconciliation Week across the Macedon Ranges.

Each event will be celebrating the region’s rich Indigenous heritage and offering a unique opportunity to learn from Traditional Owners and Custodians connection Country.

Join us on the 4th Friday of the month, from March to July, 10am to 12.30pm for games of 500, mahjong, chess, scrabble and backgammon.

Travel the shire's villages to meet, gather and keep connected with like-minded individuals in our community who are over 55.

All levels of experience welcome.

Free tea, coffee and light refreshments from 12pm to 12.30pm.

Join the Healthy Landscape program on country with Traditional Owners for an information session.

This session for farmers and land managers will cover topics such as:

Identifying cultural heritage, artefacts, and living heritage (trees, food and fibre).
What to do when you have identified cultural heritage and the different ways it can be protected.
The role of fire in the landscape.
Lunch included.

After lunch, a visit to site to share the importance of protecting sites.
